UW-54 complies with IEEE802.11g standards and is backward comptiable with IEEE802.11b standards. With the connection speed up to 54Mbps (5 times faster then IEEE802.11b), UW-54 connects the laptop computer or desktop computer to the wireless network easily. You can also connect to any public wirless hotspot for Internet to retrieve e-mail, surf web sites or use instant messaging. UW-54 gives you the freedom to join the network.

The installation and configuration is easy. You can configure UW-54 by either Windows wireless utilites or Edimax utilities. UW-54 supports advanced encryption, like WEP, WPA and WPA2 to secure the wireless transmission. With its Turbo Mode feature, it can increase the transmission speed 30% faster when connecting with other Edimax wireless devices, like adapter, access point or router. The detachable antenna with extended cable let you relocate the antenna to receive the best signals. Also, you can change to any high gain aerial with RPSMA interface.
